“Dreams and Magic” Celebrate as the “Dream of a Person” with the “Magic of the Moment” becomes a reality for all. Welcome to Dreams and Magic!
Last week I spent a week in Spain with my Tammy Taylor Spain Team. "They are AMAZING"! And our Spanish Nail Technicians were so talented, warm and eager to learn they were fabulous to teach. The Tammy Taylor Spain Team had been planning for an entire year the "Sueños y Magia" Nail Competition- Dinner- Awards -Magic Show in my Honor (I felt like Royalty) it was absolutely a Magical Evening. Every little detail was "PERFECT", you could see there were hundreds of hours of work and planning put into this special evening. "Thank You Tammy Taylor Spain" you are the Best!!! The LOOK Tradeshow was so "Exciting" seeing all of our customers and being able to talk to clients who have been using my products for years and to finally get to meet them in person was an absolute highlight of my trip. At the show I had never kissed so much in my life, in Spain they have a wonderful tradition, when you greet you give 2 kisses and when you say good bye you give 2 kisses, I love this, when I got home I really missed it, I definitely think we should make this a tradition in the U.S. Spain is a very beautiful country it reminds me a lot of California with the similar climates and terrain. When we first got to Spain it was early in the morning and we were hungry so Micaela and Eduardo took us to breakfast at San Gines Chocolateria (which has been there over 100 years and is open 24 hours a day) and this was not like any breakfast I ever had but it is now my favorite breakfast "Churros and Chocolate" Churros are a type of pastry they serve with a thick Hot Chocolate which you dip your Churros in. We were so surprised we were expecting eggs and potatoes like here in the U.S. But they eat eggs mixed with potatoes called "Cañas" for lunch or as part of a meal (not for breakfast). Downtown Madrid is busy all hours of the day and night. People walk everywhere (I think we walked at least a hundred miles). And, what I was so impressed with was how safe and clean it is. There is no litter anywhere not even on the freeways and people are walking on the streets in the middle of the night. We went to Corral de La Pacheca to watch authentic Flamenco Dancing "unbelievable", we were mesmerized. Eating Tapas (the small plate meals) are fun; it is like having all appetizers for dinner. MY absolute Favorite foods of Spain which I am craving right now and I could live on are the Pan (bread) Jamon (ham) Queso (cheese) and Paella. We went to Church Sunday night at the famous Cathedral de Almudena (where they have Royal Weddings). There is nothing like the old churches in Europe just walking inside is very emotional and breathtaking. We were able to visit and tour more in a couple of days than most tourists do in a week thanks to Micaela, Eduardo and Patricia. I am definitely going back for a vacation so I can see everything. As you can probably tell "I love Spain"!
With love, Tammy Taylor
