The Nailbed Determines Your Nail Form
1. Pick the form that fits the shape of the nailbed.

Note: If the form does not fit properly, it will be difficult to put on and the nail will break easily.

A natural nail with a severe C-Curve needs a Black Square nailform.			A flat natural nail needs a Black Square nailform.


A Narrow Natural nail or nail with a High hyponichium, needs a White Oval nailform.			A Regular nail needs a Gold Original nailform.
1. Pick the form that fits the shape of the nailbed.


2. Roll form up and down to create a C-Curve in form.	3. Hold form with thumbs, pointing to client.

4. Keep the C-Curve in the form while putting it on finger.	5. Place form under corners of free-edge. There should be no gap between form and free-edge. If there is, the nail will break.


6. Stick down form on the sides of clients finger with your thumbs. Then you can release your fingers from form, even if it sticks to your fingers, it will stay put on the clients finger.	7. Stick bottom of form together to keep the C-Curve.


8. Press down a little on the top of the form to round it out so it is not pointy.
